Reflecting on a Year of Kindness and Community

As we enter Second Chances’ 20th Season of Giving, we are filled with immense gratitude for you - our kind and generous community.

The Season of Giving is a poignant reminder of the powerful impact we can make when we come together. Thanks to your generous contributions of clothing, funding, and volunteer time, in the past 12 months, we have:

• Reused and recycled 326,525 pounds of clothing
• Supported 26 local organizations and programs
• Distributed 7,053 items of apparel to neighbors in need
• Distributed 5,549 pairs of new socks and underwear to neighbors
• Provided personalized clothing bundles to 321 neighbors in need
• Received donations from 65 volunteer-led clothing drives

Together with compassionate folks like you, we’ve made sure that each person who received clothing felt empowered, welcomed, and valued.

GivingTuesday reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity.

On GivingTuesday, you can help our neighbors find strength, community, and stability with a financial contribution: 

• $25 provides a coat to keep someone warm and dry

• $50 offers a complete outfit with shoes and accessories

• $75 provides coordinated separates or  a suit and shirt for job interviews

• $100 delivers 10 pieces of coordinated clothing

• $250 supplies essential clothing for a shelter

• $500 outfits five neighbors 

• $1,000 provides clothing, shoes, and accessories for 10 people
