Second Chances - Clothing connecting community
Microsoft

Thank you, Microsoft!

Thanks to Maureen, Dennis, and the wonderful Healthcare and Life Sciences team at Microsoft for including us in their Giving and Connection event in Burlington last month. They donated 74 items of new clothing from our Amazon wishlist, hosted a clothing drive, sorted 343 pounds of clothing, and then the whole team went out for refreshments and connecting. We’ve been honored to partner with Microsoft since 2010 and we’re grateful for their creativity and compassion.

Want to give back to folks in need in our community as part of your organization’s team-building activities? We'd be thrilled to work with you!

Community Effort

We are grateful to our nonprofit partners, community members, and generous donors for caring so deeply for our neighbors.

In the past three months, our community donated 79,056 pounds of clothing through clothing drives and our donation bins. Your compassion and generosity allowed us to provide empowering clothing, shoes, accessories, and gift cards to 138 neighbors and distribute 834 pairs of new socks and underwear since July 1st. This quarter, we were able to deliver 1,954 items to clients so they look and feel great as they take the next steps toward housing stability, employment, training, and so much more. Thank you!
