This spring, Arbella Insurance Foundation will match all donations 1:1 up to $10,000.

Your donation ensures that folks like Sandra, who lost her job when her employer of more than a decade closed during the pandemic, can turn to Second Chances. Sandra needed help with clothing for her job search, her growing kids, and the cold Boston winter. Because of generous donors like you, Sandra received a bag filled with carefully selected clothes, shoes, and accessories. She was able to walk into an interview feeling cared for, confident, and capable.

We’re always up for a challenge, so we were thrilled when the generous and community-minded folks at Arbella Insurance Foundation offered to match up to $10,000 in donations to Second Chances. As a small organization, we’re not able to host an in-person fundraising event every year. And, we can’t deliver empowering clothing to our neighbors without staff, space, supplies, and all the rest.

Second Chances is the only program in our community providing free and empowering clothing, shoes, and accessories to nearly 500 homeless and lower-income women, men, and children each year, while recycling and reusing almost 300,000 pounds of textiles each year.
