Second Chances - Clothing connecting community
Image

When you donate clothing to Second Chances, you not only provide empowering clothing to neighbors in need, you decrease the amount of textiles going into landfills. This April, we have several opportunities to donate your spring cleaning and benefit someone else in our community and our planet. Since 2005, Second Chances has reused and recycled more than 2.5 million pounds of clothing!

We're thrilled to co-host an Earth Day event with Naveo Credit Union this year and we're grateful to Steve McKenna and the Home Advantage Team and Coldwell Banker Realty in Cambridge for hosting public clothing drives this month as well.

Arbella $10,000 Matching Gift Challenge

Arbella $10,000 Challenge

Double your impact and help Second Chances reach even more people in our community! Through May, the Arbella Insurance Foundation will generously match all contributions 1:1 up to $10,000.

With rising costs of housing, utilities, transportation, food, healthcare, and more, the homeless and low-income neighbors we serve need our help more than ever before. Second Chances is serving 33% more people than three years ago and providing more than twice the clothing for each client.

Because of generous neighbors like you, we've been able to deliver empowering clothing for every person who made a request last year.

Your gift, plus Arbella Insurance Foundation's match, will ensure that we're able to continue providing essential clothing to support hundreds of members of our community this year. Thank you!

Second Chances is the only program in our community providing free and empowering clothing, shoes, and accessories to nearly 500 homeless and lower-income women, men, and children each year, while recycling and reusing almost 300,000 pounds of textiles each year.
